Can we meet our ‘Bow-Wow Buddy’ before booking?

Yes! It is a requirement to first complete a ‘Meet & Greet’ at the required location.

Meet and Greets are Free and generally last about 20 minutes.

Are the ‘Bow-Wow Buddies’ trustworthy?

Absolutely! All Bow-Wow Buddies have a big soft spot for man’s best friend, have been Police Checked and have a history and knowledge in K9 care.

Does Bow-Wow Boredom Busters do holiday care?

Unfortunately we DO NOT offer holiday care (feeding, house sitting etc), weekend or overnight care.

How often can I book a ‘Bow-Wow Buddy’?

Clients are welcome to book as often as required, daily, weekly, fortnightly, monthly or even just for the holidays. There are NO contracts!

*However, all dates are subject to availability

How far ahead can I book a Bow-Wow Buddy?

Due to the demand, we prefer a minimum notice of 7 days to confirm availability.

Bookings can be booked up to one month in advance *Subject to availability.

If a cancellation is required, clients will need to notify Bow-Wow Boredom Busters via our BBB App or email a minimum of 1 days (24 hours) before the booking is due to commence.

How/When do I pay?

Clients are invoiced on a weekly basis.

All clients will have a 7 day account to pay any money outstanding.

Payment options: Bank transfer, STRIPE and GoCardless

Is Bow-Wow Boredom Busters insured?

Yes, Bow-Wow Boredom Busters has Premium Public Liability and Transport Insurance.

Are there any dog restrictions?

- There are no restrictions on breed or size of dogs, however, all dogs must be people friendly and have basic leash manners.

- The number of dog’s on the property must be acknowledged & agreed upon before commencement.

- All K9 triggers must be acknowledged for the safety of our staff and community.

- As a professional dog walkers, we understand, all dog’s will be cautious for the first few visits, however, in time your dog and their ‘Bow-Wow Buddy’ will form a very special bond.

- If your dog is on heat, the session will have to be rescheduled.

What locations does Bow-Wow Boredom Busters service?

Bow-Wow Boredom Busters currently services territories between Caboolture to Redcliffe and surrounding areas. (Northside Brisbane)

However, we may need to confirm availability to service your area.

1. Disclaimer and Liability

Bow-Wow Boredom Busters (BBB), including its partners, agents, contractors, officers, directors, shareholders, employees, and other third parties associated or involved in running the BBB Platform, disclaim all liabilities and responsibility for any damage or loss that might be suffered by you, any user or any other third party caused directly or indirectly by our services, the pet services or any other use of the platform, (including but not limited to interactions with third parties facilitated by the Platform) including, without limitation, loss or damage suffered as a result of negligence, and you agree to release us from any liability and responsibility under these terms.

2. Modifications to these Terms

Bow-Wow Boredom Busters reserves the right to change these Terms at any time, including with respect to Fees etc, and you will be advised of any changes or potential future changes prior to the change occurring.

3. Relationships

All parties involved in the Bow-Wow Boredom Busters program will do their utmost to communicate and provide all that is necessary to nurture a positive relationship between Bow-Wow Boredom Busters, the K9(s) and their owners. Bow-Wow Boredom Busters will uphold the Privacy Act 2009 Laws however, Bow-Wow Boredom Busters, will take no responsibility for any 3rd parties access or links, in the event a 3rd party breaches the Privacy Act. Clients and staff are to communicate only via our BBB App, we will not be held accountable if discrepancies occur outside our system/program.

4. Our Online Service and Booking Fees

Clients will be invited to our independent BBB App, there they can create and personalise an account. Our nifty BBB App will provide easy access to make bookings, payment invoices and communicate to Bow-Wow Buddies and Head Office. All prices and specials are firm as advertised via the website. These are non-negotiable and are to be paid once the service has completed or within a 7 day period.

*Please note our competitive booking fees cover our services, operating costs, advertising, insurances, travel, ongoing consumables, products and maintenance.

If payment has not been received, services may be put on hold until all outstanding funds are paid.

5. Cancellation Policy and Refunds

If a Cancellation is made by the user, a cancelation fee may be be applied.

However, if notice is given no later than 1 days (24 hours) prior to required date of service, no fee will apply.

6. Medical Issues and Emergencies

In the event of a dog medical emergency, Bow-Wow Boredom Busters will make contact with the emergency contact stated on the application form provided to Bow-Wow Boredom Busters at the time of engaging our services. Bow-Wow Boredom Busters will then require an agreed action plan and/or permission to transport the K9 to an agreed Vet/destination if the owner cannot get to the property within a timely manner. Once the dog is being appropriately cared for, Bow-Wow Boredom Busters will then resume their schedule. If appropriate Bow-Wow Boredom Busters can/will enquire about the dog/s health/results at a later date, to maintain relationships previously formed with our clients.

If a pet had or has any conditions, symptoms whether diagnosed by a qualified veterinarian or not, Bow-Wow Boredom Busters will not be held liable for any medical care or claims. If Parvo/CPV or any other infections illness/disease is or has been found on the property, Bow-Wow Boredom Busters is to be notified as early as possible, so the necessary steps can be followed up and implemented. In the event of a dog/s harming a Bow-Wow Boredom Busters member, the owner will help cover any necessary medical costs incurred. The long-term relationship between Bow-Wow Boredom Busters and our clients will be dealt with on a case by case scenario. We believe the care and welfare of our clients is paramount.

7. Property Damage

Due to the unpredictability when working with animals, Bow-Wow Boredom Busters is/will not be held liable for any property/item’s issues, loss or damages.

8. Treats

The only treats provided by Bow-Wow Boredom Busters will meet Australian quality and standards. If your K9 has any allergies, please notify Bow-Wow Boredom Busters so we can discuss clients options.

9. Feedback

Bow-Wow Boredom Busters welcome and encourage feedback from all their clients,

however, all feedback should be mindful, respectful and constructive.

Bow-Wow Boredom Busters appreciate constructive feedback and will take any respectful suggestions on board for future consideration.

All reviews will be viewed and shared by Bow-Wow Boredom Busters and by Bow-Wow Boredom Busters approved 3rd parties.

10. Links to Third Party Sites

Bow-Wow Boredom Busters is not responsible for and does not endorse, or accept any responsibility for, the use or content of third parties.

Bow-Wow Boredom Busters has the right (unless we have received in writing for a client to not) utilise all photographic media, reviews, communications and advertising alike for their discretion.

11. Third Party Advertising

Bow-Wow Boredom Busters will not be held responsible/liable for any advertisements that may be delivered by/to users, public and such by 3rd party advertising partners.

12. Termination and Account Cancellation

Bow-Wow Boredom Busters reserve the right to suspend or even cancel accounts/connections without prior notice.

Bow-Wow Boredom Busters may provide notice, within reason, and in doing so will advise the account holder of the cause for suspension or cancellation of their account.

However, it is important to note that the client is personally liable for any pending transactions and/or charges that they may have incurred prior to the termination/cancellation.

Please note due to legal obligations, if an account is cancelled, we are under no obligation to delete or return any content that has been gained over the time of service with Bow-Wow Boredom Busters.

13. Intellectual Property Rights

Bow-Wow Boredom Busters and licensor's (as/when applicable) own all intellectual property, including any updates,

enhancements and new features that Bow-Wow Boredom Busters may provide.

If modification, defacing or any changes are made to Bow-Wow Boredom Busters property

without prior consent, Bow-Wow Boredom Busters has the right to exercise their rights within the current laws.

Bow-Wow Boredom Busters own all trademarks, branding and logos contained herein, or relating to Bow-Wow Boredom Busters and under no circumstances can be used for any internal/external purpose without Bow-Wow Boredom Busters written consent.

14. Property Access

Bow-Wow Boredom Busters will NOT gain access to private dwellings without owners prior consent.

All Bow-Wow Boredom Busters services will be conducted outside the dwelling within the safety of the client’s back yard and local area. An agreed plan of safe access will be confirmed between Bow-Wow Boredom Busters and the client.

Bow-Wow Boredom Busters will also require safe parking for their staff vehicles.

15. Information and Confidentiality

Bow-Wow Boredom Busters attempts to maintain the accuracy and integrity of all information received and shared.

Bow-Wow Boredom Busters will apply/implement all active and current Privacy Laws at all times.

If any person believes that any information found on the Bow-Wow Boredom Busters Platform is unauthorised, inaccurate or incomplete, please send the information to bowwowboredombusters@gmail.com

Clients are responsible for updating/maintaining their account access and information.
