Bow-Wow Boredom Busters are a proud North side Brisbane company.
Though we are young within the community, we aim to become a helpful and popular household name.
We aren't your average 'Dog Walker'
Our goal is to create enrichment and exercise for our local doggy community
within the safety of their own back yards and areas. We do this through doggy brain games and stimulating exercise.
Sadly a lot of dogs are often left at home alone whilst owners are stuck working long days.
We also understand that many dog owners don't have the option to send their beloved dogs to a local
Doggy Day Care nor like the idea of having their dogs leave the safety of their own property.
So with this in mind, we have developed a service where we visit your
dogs to help them run off some of their pent up energy.
Our visits will also help lower their anxiety along with enriching their mental and emotional state.
Many of our clients have seen a real positive change in their dogs since booking their own Bow-wow Buddy.

What to expect when booking a Bow-Wow Buddy
As soon as your Bow-wow Buddy arrives, your dog will know it's time for some fun!
Owners will receive some 'Pup Selfies' (photos) of their dog with their 'Bow-Wow Buddy' at play.
This will be sent to your mobile device after each session.
(You will need to provide your details upon registration).
All our 'Play Date' activities take place within the safety of your own back yard. We also offer 'Walkies, Run Me Ragged, Pup Cruise's and Doggy Adventures (all within your local area) for those that need a little more exercise and love an adventure.
All dogs will be kept on their lead at all times!
Please note Bow-wow Boredom Busters is NOT a Day Care facility and will NOT be taking your dog off the property unless you have booked a session that entails leaving the premises or in the event of an emergency.
Bow-wow Boredom Busters will only gain access to your property via a side gate, we will NOT enter private dwellings without the owners consent.
For an additional fee ($5) we can do a 'Poop Scoop' whilst on site.
(You are to provide the scooper and give instruction on disposal)
All staff hold a Blue Card/Police Check, insurance & K9 1st Aid.
Due to the popularity of our services, our 'Bow-Wow Buddies' will only utilise what is available to them onsite (your own dog toys) along with the odd non-chewable apparatuses eg: animal friendly bubbles, treats, toy lure, trick/brain training items for stimulating play.
This is to minimise cross-contamination, such as Parvo/CPV.
Sanitiser hand wash will also be used before & after each session as an added form of prevention.
We will also offer to supply a Buddy-Tub so you can keep all the Bow-wow Buddy toys and leashes etc in for easy access for their sessions.
Staff will have a body camera on them whilst active in a session, this is for insurance purposes.
A simple 30 minute session can expel a lot of your dog's pent up energy, sooth and calm and enrich their day, thus lowing their boredom and anxieties.
*Duty of Care
If something has been observed out of character eg:
- An injury or health concern with your dog/s
- Damage to your property
- Provision concerns
- Security/Safety concerns
Owners will be notified promptly to help maintain the dog/s safety and well being.
